Indonesian Language- Intermediate I

Program objectives

This program has 3 immediate objectives:

1. To enable you to converse fluently in a more advanced setting
2. To enable you to master Indonesian grammar that is frequently used
3. To practice your listening skills through various audio

About the program

Besides developing the conversational skills that the participants have already mastered before, the program will be focused on contextual role-plays in small groups. Besides training their conversational skills, we will also introduce more on the grammars such as Indonesian suffixes and the prefixes.

Topics to be covered

Conversational Components:

–          Making & Answering Calls
–          Shopping in Indonesia
–          Talking about families, physical appearances, etc.
–          Talking about your hobbies and interests
–          Talking to your domestic helper
–          Opening a bank account/interview

Grammar Components:

–          Basic Prepositions
–          Uses of “Ada” &  “Yang”
–          Degrees of Comparison
–          Active and Passive Sentences
–          General conjugation of prefix “MeN-”
–          Usage of prefix “Ber-, Ber-an”
