Program objectives

This program has 2 immediate objectives:

  1. To enable you to read & understand Indonesian newspapers & magazines.
  2. To enable you to master more advanced Indonesian grammar that is frequently used.

About the program

Besides developing the conversational skills that the participants have already mastered before, the program will be focused on text-based learning to enhance their writing and reading skills. Video and audio will be introduced as well to help mastering their listening and comprehension skills.

–          Talking about hobbies & interests

Reading Components:

–          Articles from Kompas, Kompas Online, Indonesian magazines
–          Audio/Video from Indonesian Television channels

Grammar Components:

–          Uses of “-an”
–          Ways to say “If”
–          Various conjunctions
–          Imperatives
–          Reporting what has been said
–          Letter Writing
