Provide Care for the Elderly at Home

Conducted by qualified nurses it aims to equip participants with the competencies to provide basic elderly care for loved ones in need at home.

On completion of the program, participants will be able to better understand the needs of the elderly and to confidently and correctly assist them in their daily activities. In addition, participants will also learn about various wellness supports for themselves as caregivers.

Methodology

Facilitated by qualified nursing educators, participants can expect an enriching and interactive learning experience through hands-on simulation, group discussions and video case studies. This program is available in English, Mandarin or Malay.

• One-to-one Home-Based Training (3hrs) 
• A Classroom-Based Program for Foreign Domestic Helpers (FDWG) (7 hrs)
• An Interactive Classroom-Based Learning Program (15hrs) 

Program Fee Includes

Training Manual, Light Refreshments, Certificate of Attendance, Alumni membership with CBLD (discounts for talks, workshops, programs)

Confirmation & Cancellation

Upon receipt of full payment of program fee, a confirmation of enrolment will be sent (subject to availability of seat). Payment by cash or cheque must be made at least 2 weeks before the commencement of the program. Cheque payment is to be made to: CBLD Pte Ltd

Participants who wish to withdraw from the program will be charged a cancellation fee as follows:

1) 2 weeks or more before the commencement of class: No penalty
2) Less than 2 weeks before the commencement of class: 50% of the course fee before funding
3) Less than 1 week before the commencement of class: 100% of the course fee before funding

CBLD Center reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the class. All efforts will be made to inform participants who have signed up soonest possible.
