Regardless of any industry or business, leaders are always required to drive performance through people. Therefore, it is critical for any leader to be a first class communicator so that they are able to communicate their ideas through their team effectively. However, studies have shown that around 70% of employees feel that their superiors do not spend enough time communicating with them. This could further lead to poor relations between employees and their superiors, resulting in a negative workplace environment.

 

This Performance Leadership program is designed to help participants develop positive 360°relationships between various stakeholders. They will understand the domains of Emotional Intelligence and use it to communicate positively to their 360° relationships. They will learn to tap on the benefits of diversity and embrace differences. Participants will learn to foster teamwork and resolve conflicts effectively.

  • Build trust among key stakeholders and enhance synergetic relationships
  • Understand the 5 domains of emotional intelligence to enhance equitable relationships
  • Manage inter-personal conflict and diversity effectively to achieve greater synergy

Linda Tan-Spicer
Senior Consultant/ Trainer

With over 20 years of experience as a professional trainer, Linda Tan-Spicer has vast experience in both the public and corporate sectors. Through her enthusiastic and innovative approach, she possesses the ability to capture and inspire her audience to learn. Her passion for educating and sharing exudes through her vibrant personality which is critical in a training environment. 

Linda holds a degree in Applied Psychology and a Master degree in Guidance and Counseling. She is also among a limited pool of trainers who are recognized by Singapore’s Workforce Development Agency to plan, design, and conduct competency-based training and assessments. Her areas of development expertise include leadership effectiveness, customer service, individual performance, problem solving and interpersonal communication skills.

Currently, Linda’s research effort has been focused on assisting organizations develop innovative and practical strategies for improved workplace performance, especially in the areas of leadership development and customer service. She is instrumental in applying her in-depth knowledge and talent in Adult Learning Psychology to design and develop learning interventions that are both effective and engaging.

Armed with an in-depth understanding of Psychology, Linda is also effective in conducting counseling and coaching sessions to help individuals tackle their workplace challenges and improve their performance. During such sessions, she consistently helps individuals to identify their problem areas, overcome blind spots and develop new perspectives in their work.

Clients have often commented on her creative approach in training, which makes learning highly effective and fun. Linda sees herself as a facilitator and conducts her program in a highly interactive manner by injecting role-plays, discussions, presentations and games in her training.
