Career Starter equips our youth to thrive in this world of uncertainty and change. A sense of career direction and purpose, as well as deeper knowledge of themselves and the marketplace, will provide the youth with the right foundation for pursuing wisdom and making right decisions.
What does Career Starter offer that is different from today’s typical career resources?
Career Starter involves a career profiling assessment tool and personal, one-on-one career coaching. This format allows students to gain insight into their unique personality, abilities, learning style and gain clarity on their strengths, interests, and what energizes them. Through a deep and fruitful dialogue with a professional coach, the student will zoom in on specific career options they can pursue.
ROHEI’s expertise includes years of experience serving youth and scholars.
What will the program be like?
An introductory phone conversation between coach, student and parent will kick off the program. Next up is career profiling, done online by the student, followed by a meeting arranged between the coach and student for results assessment and debriefing. The coach will share key lessons on career options, understanding the 4th industrial revolution, as well as ROHEI’s framework of a career journey: discovering one’s passion, flourishing in one’s lane, and arriving at convergence—the point where one fully lives out their life’s meaning and purpose. A post-coaching summary report will be provided for the student and parent.
Who is ROHEI?
A learning and development consultancy, ROHEI creates inspired learning experiences for individuals and organizations. ROHEI has trained over 35,000 learners to date, from industries representing finance, service, aviation, education and government, and has created highly acclaimed programs for the youth as well as national scholars.
Who will be coaching my son / daughter?
We will allocate a coach for your son or daughter, matching your child’s background to a coach with the most relevant expertise and experience. The goal is to build trust and rapport between your child and the coach. We currently have five career coaches
with extensive experience in a vast range of industries, both in private and government sectors.
Fourteen to twenty-one-year-old students who may be uncertain about what studies to pursue and/or are eager to explore various options and be more future-ready.
SG$350 per student.
Fees will be reduced with group enrolments of 3 or more.
Coaching sessions take place from Monday to Friday, between 9AM to 6PM, except on public holidays. You will be asked to provide your preferred date and time when you sign up.
