Details

This is a foundational course to start off your relationship with clay. You'll first learn basic techniques of pinching, coiling, hollowing and slab building. You'll have lots of fun fiddling around with that little lump of clay and get skilled at transforming it into whatever you wish to express. When you see your maiden ceramic art pieces emerge from the kiln in beautiful form, texture and colors, you'll experience your first Aha! moment of your pottery journey. ​

Takeaway: basic know-how and skills to express yourself in basic clay forms. ​

Course fee: S$250 for 6 x 2-hour sessions (Fee includes all clay materials and tools. Firing is extra cost based on volume.) ​
