This is a 1-day course which aims to equip participants with the basic clinical knowledge and skills to care for residents with urinary and bowel incontinence.
Module 1: Urinary Incontinence
Outline the basic anatomy and physiology of the urinary system
Provide an overview of urinary dysfunction
Discuss the interventions for urinary incontinence
Module 2: Bowel Incontinence
Outline the basic anatomy and physiology of the lower digestive system
Provide an overview of the bowel dysfunction
Discuss the interventions for bowel incontinence

Staffed by about 400 trained and professional employees, our In-patient Department (IPD), Rehabilitation Centre and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Centre serve thousands of patients every month. Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital (KWSH) is appointed by AIC’s (Agency for Integrated Care) as the Learning Institute for the Community Care sector.
