Introduction
Participants are introduced to low mood and how it may lead to depression if the issue is not addressed. The signs of low mood and the diagnostic criteria for depression are also shared. Through a case study, participants will also discuss whether the experience of a person is a case of low mood or depression.

Main Segment
The main segment covers the factors that affect one’s mood.
This is followed by sharing how one can effectively respond to stressful situations, specifically:
• Taking personal responsibility and not trying to control the behaviour of others
• Learn how they respond cognitively to stressful situations, e.g. focusing on the negatives and engaging in polarized thinking, will influence their mood
• Sharing of simple breathing and muscle relaxation exercises

Conclusion
• Differences between low mood and depression
• Recap on one’s ability to overcome stressful situations and find happiness despite the challenges

The venue is flexible, we can conduct the class in your office, either in a room or hall, equipped with a projector and seats. A whiteboard will be preferred but not required.

We also design and customize group programs for any corporate, marketing or internal events, which can be a combination of various types of fitness classes over a few sessions.
