Details

Instruction is directed at establishing the student in each of the four facets of a language: speaking, reading, writing and listening. There are 3 levels for the Beginner stage. Completion of Level 3 allows the student to take his learning on an intermediate level, preparing the student for an international diploma corresponding to Deutsches Sprachdiplom (Zertificat Deutsch) (German). Please note that the taking of exams is purely on a voluntary basis. Students having completed their Level 3 courses are not obliged to take the exams.

German CEFR A1.1, A1.2, A1.3 focus on phonetics, pronunciation and the essential grammar and vocabulary needed to understand the language and to carry out simple dialogues.

All courses are run in a relaxed setting and the class sizes are kept small.

1. CORINNA MÜLLER

Corinna had taught German language and culture already before she came to Singapore. Combined with her background in accounting and finance, she has a wealth of experience in teaching German language, culture and precision! A native speaker and friendly teacher, she covers all ages and categories in her teaching activity at Agape School of Education, from young to old, private to group, local to international companies.

2. ISABEL

Teacher Isabel has been teaching German to students of all ages, from as young as 18 months old to adults. She started teaching German language as a mother tongue and second language to children in 2010, using Montessori principles. When teaching, she has a knack for assessing the different needs of each student and combining them into working groups according to their group dynamics. She is an enthusiastic educator who also teaches Spanish, English, Italian, music (foundation, violin, viola) and sports (inline skating, biking, coordinated movement). An avid learner, Teacher Isabel also possesses intermediate fluency in French and basic Mandarin.
