Program Overview
The Certificate in Engineering Foundation will strengthen the essential technical knowledge on engineering discipline for students who intend to study engineering programmes.
- Analyze and solve Mathematical problems using algebraic, trigonometric methods, calculus and statistics
- Analyse static and dynamic engineering systems
- DC and AC theory

A* 90 and Above
A 80 – 89
B 70 – 79
C 60 – 69
D 50 – 59
P Pass at Supplementary Examination
F 49 and below
Mode of Assessment:
The assessment depends on the nature of the modules. Please refer to the course structure above. Modules are taught in a face-to-face manner.
Entry Qualification:
- Minimum age requirement: Must be 16 years old
- N Level or equivalent (Recommended)
- The final decision concerning admission to the programme rests with the Academic Advisory Board

Private Education Act
Under the Private Education Act legislated in December 2009, a Committee for Private Education (CPE) was set up to regulate the private education industry in Singapore. The Private Education Act prescribes a clear line of accountability for the conduct and practices of PEIs. A PEI is required to set up an Academic Board and an Examinations Board with at least three members each.
