Programme Overview
The CPR and AED Course is designed equip safety personnel with the knowledge in identifying accidents
with casualties and to perform first aid skills at the workplace, and the participant will get
- Knowledge and skills on both CPR and AED
- Simplifies the process for individual and layperson to learn CPR techniques while effectively applying the AED (automated external defibrillator), a device which can shock a dying heart rhythm going back to life.
- Participants will be trained according to the latest release of national guidelines on CPR and AED

- Understand the cardiovascular system and its importance
- Able to recognize a unconscious victim, and commence early
- Able to use an AED correctly, safely and rapidly when available
- Anatomy and physiology of the circulatory system on the heart
- Chain of survival
- Principles of resuscitation
- Universal precautions
- Resuscitation sequence and techniques for one-man CPR
- Introduction on AED, features & Indications Dangers associated with AED operations and safety
- precaution. Chest preparation
- Electrode pad placement AED procedure and troubleshooting documentation & housekeeping

Entry Qualification:
- Able to Understand Basic English
Certification: Upon Successful completion of the course a Certification with 2 years validity will be issued by Capital College Of Management And Technology.

Private Education Act
Under the Private Education Act legislated in December 2009, a Committee for Private Education (CPE) was set up to regulate the private education industry in Singapore. The Private Education Act prescribes a clear line of accountability for the conduct and practices of PEIs. A PEI is required to set up an Academic Board and an Examinations Board with at least three members each. The Boards are to set up proper academic and examination processes and frameworks respectively. ...
