SkillsFuture Course - Rhino 5 Essential Training
Rhino is a 3D-modeling powerhouse, used to design and engineer products ranging from jewelry and furniture to architecture and automobiles.
This course is intended for beginners with limited to unexistent knowledge of 3D softwares. The trainer will give you a first dip inside the world of 3D, its usage and the opportunity it arises from it. The course will start off-keyboards. The intention is
to demystify the process of “making things 3D”. As the afternoon progresses we will slowly move into the software itself and learn about Rhino's three primary entities (the curve, the surface, and the solid) and other elementary components you need to know
in order to ‘think in 3D’.
Topics include:
- Why use Rhino?
- Understanding 3D
- Navigating the viewport
- Manipulating objects with commands
- Creating curves, surfaces, and solids
- Performing basic transformations
- Making solids with primitives
- Extruding curves
- Snapping to objects and planes
- Trimming, splitting, rotating, and copying objects
