The actions taken during the first moments of an emergency are often the most crucial. Whether it is a prompt warning sent out to evacuate employees or a timely call for help to public emergency services with full and accurate information, it can save lives and/or minimize damages to the facility or the environment.
This 1-day course will provide a structured look into the process and plan for the Emergency Response system for the organization and will provide a guide to developing your own emergency response plan.

- Review protective actions for life safety and conducting evacuation drills
- Jump into action in times of emergency and be able to successfully and accurately respond to the emergency

- Identify emergency scenarios and elements of emergency planning and the related functions
- Identify the key roles and responsibilities required in an emergency
- Identify the steps to be taken and the resources needed when planning for an evacuation drill including taking into consideration the principal consideration, planning parameters and desired outcome of evacuation planning and emergency response planning
- Develop an emergency response plan for the organization
- (Hands-on) Conduct a safety evacuation briefing
