Training for lower primary school language teachers.

This hands-on and experiential workshop is targeted for teachers in the lower primary level and for interested parents of children aged 6 – 10. The session will enable participants to explore concrete teaching strategies for the construction of narratives and a variety of ways to use the arts to teach students to generate ideas for their own creative writing. This workshop will also enable participants to engage and enthuse students in the process of writing original and insightful narratives and invites participants to experience a range of hands-on activities for them that they can take back to the classroom or back at home.
