Baptiste power vinyasa yoga is based on the teachings of Baron Baptiste and is a power vinyasa style. It is a holistic practice based on a set sequence (Journey Into Power) that causes you to breathe, focus, flow, build strength, and sweat, all while having fun and empowering you to access your greatest self. The class will leave you feeling peaceful, rejuvenated, and inspired. The Baptiste Yoga™ practice is designed to empower you with the focus, training and insight you need to achieve consistent results in the most important areas of your life. A potent physical yoga practice, meditation practice and active self inquiry are used as tools of transformation – encouraging participants to reclaim their full potential, discover creativity, awaken passion, and create authenticity, confidence and new possibilities.
The practice is appropriate for all people as modifications can be made in each pose to meet your bodies needs just as your body is today. The practice is typically done in 32 to 35 °C (or ~90 °F) and it may be done is a less heated room.
Our director, Dr. Trish Corley, leads the yoga teacher trainings and workshops as well as several weekly classes. She is an internationally recognized yoga teacher and a doctor of physiotherapy.
