Programme details:

Students will be introduced to improv and experience the collaborative process of devising their own performance piece based on their painting. Through a series of games and activities, they will explore elements of improvisations and learn to say ‘Yes and…’, to contribute, and to feel free to express themselves.

Note:

Students may pick their own paintings if they wish, but they must submit their choice to the instructor via email three days before the workshop. If not, the student may pick a piece from the pre-selected collection at workshop.

Exploration of the different elements of improvisations

Exploration of verbal and non-verbal actions that are used to devise and develop narratives

Tools and techniques to devise your own unique painting performance

Challenging your creative and artistic boundaries as you create your own performance piece

Founded by Kamil Haque in 2013, the Haque Centre of Acting & Creativity (HCAC) is an acting school. HCAC is one of the companies under Method Metropolis, an umbrella group focusing on arts, entertainment, and education.

HCAC, is the home of Method Acting in Asia. It is the first professional acting school in English in Singapore.
