BCM-310: Assessing Risk And Business Impact Requirements

The workshop covers identifying the critical business functions, product and services, assessing the inter-dependencies that can affect a business unit, analysing and quantifying the impact of internal and external influencing factors. Concurrently, it includes the reviewing and assessing of the risk to an organisation, reporting findings of risk factors and their impact as well as recommending solutions and / or mitigating strategies to relevant stakeholders.
The course would be available on Tuesday with assessment done on Friday. The assessment is essential for participants to be awarded the WSQ Statement of Attainment.
* Completion of all three workshops with a $200 Qualifying BCCS examination fees.
Objectives
- To train participants to analyse organisation’s dependencies that may impact on the organization and an individual’s work role.
- Senior and Middle Management, Department Representatives, Business Unit BCM Coordinators, Organisational BC Coordinators and Planners.
- Newly appointed members of the BCM team.
- Any member of the organization involved in the implementation of a Business Continuity Management System (BCMS).
- New to BC or DR, or recently been involved in BC or DR project /programme within your organization.

International Certification Option:
For those who are interested to obtain the internationally recognised BCM certification, Business Continuity Certified Specialist, they would need to pay SGD200 for the Qualifying BCCS exam, pass the exam and send in their application form detailing their 1 year of BCM experience along with the BCCS application fees of SGD75.
