Become a better songwriter by understanding what Grammy-winning songwriters are doing, and learning how to apply these techniques to your own writing. This introductory course will cover songwriting fundamentals such as structure,
pace, balance, harmony and correct writing habits.
You will also learn how to identify and apply numerous melodic techniques used in hit songs such as the improtance of repetition, motif development, writing strong hook lines, and melodic motion. Turn your original demos into
hit songs that your audience will remember and want to sing along to!
Finally, you will get the opportunity to record your original song in our commercial recording studio. completing the course with something you can proudly showcase to your friends and family.

Keith Kwok
Keith graduated from the pretigious Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor in Music, double majoring in Music Production and Engineering, and Contemporary Writing and Production. Besides being awarded with the prestigious Summa Cum Laude (First Class Honors), Keith also received several awards at Berklee, which includes a Contemporary Writing and Production Achievement award for outstanding writing, and being placed o the Dean's List fr all seven semesters of his studies there. As a producer, engineer and performer, Keith has worked and performed with some of the industry's biggest names including JJ Lin, Kit Chan, Michael Learns to Rock, Ming Bridges and Asian Idol Hady Mirza. He was also invited to be a guest trainer on Singapore Idol season 3 to coach the contestants in Songwriting.

Joshua G Nair
Joshua graduated with Honors from School of Audio Engineering with a Bachelor in Recording Arts. While pursuing his degree, he was hired by School of Audio Engineering as Head Supervisor. At the same time, Joshua was the chief audio engineer and producer at Blackisle Studios where he was heavily involved in recording, producing and mixing local bands from a variety of genres. His passion to be actively involved in all aspects of audio has seen him in a variety of roles; he has composed music for short films such as 'Never Been Touched', starring Koh Chieng Mun, and has produced theme songs for local telemovies. To further cement his love for music, he plays bass in a local band that has toured and performed in various parts of Asia. Joshua currently teaches audio modules in Singapore Polytechnic as well as manages its various recording facilities.
