Details

This is the first of a three part workshop series designed to introduce actors to the business, technique and practice of working on and behind the camera, both artistically and technically.

All 8 sessions of the workshop series will be conducted with a full camera and lighting setup to simulate a professional Film & TV production environment. Over the course of 8 weeks, concepts of 'Acting Quality' and a student's particular character 'type' will be explored.

On top of on-camera acting techniques, the instructor will also focus on communication through body language and facial expressions on camera.

Students will also grasp basic shooting concepts such as framing and understand the difference in communicating on stage and on screen.

This highly interactive workshop equips individuals with useful life skills that are applicable to both actors and non-actors alike.
