Details
Effective maintenance strategies and techniques for rotating equipment are currently saving industries of all sizes millions of dollars on machine maintenance every year. This concept of saving large amounts on maintenance, however, may be tough for some
to grasp. Maintenance is the largest single controllable expenditure in a plant and in many companies, it often exceeds annual net profit. The problem of costly maintenance has truly reached a serious level, but as some companies have found out and more come
to realize every day, their maintenance costs can be cut drastically by establishing the correct maintenance strategies. Using the wrong maintenance technique can waste time, money, and resources, and have no effect on improving or maintaining availability.
By attending the masterclass, you will learn how to apply the correct tool sets for effective maintenance management by applying the appropriate maintenance technique identified through conducting FMEA & RCA to understand how an asset may fail and how the failure can be prevented or the risk mitigated. This interactive workshop is designed to explain the effective method of component condition monitoring for use as both a predictive maintenance and root cause analysis tool. It also details the major failure causes, the world-class proven root cause analysis procedure with exercises and case histories, installation, pre-commissioning planning, functional testing and
commissioning, precision maintenance strategies, and more.
This masterclass comprehensively presents an integrated viewpoint, state-of-the-art techniques, and methodologies for improving the reliability of rotating equipment. Key topics to be addressed include:

This masterclass comprehensively presents an integrated viewpoint, state-of-the-art techniques, and methodologies for improving the reliability of rotating equipment. Key topics to be addressed include:
- Reliability maintenance philosophies, strategies, and techniques, their relationships to each other, and their effective application
- Machinery condition monitoring, condition assessment based on data collected, and asset management
- Effective fault diagnosis techniques; failure mode and causal analysis
- Life-cycle strategies to promote increased reliability
- Reliability improvement program development and implementation, including structure and personnel
- Considerations; and business ramifications of reliability improvement.
Outline
By the end of this intensive 3-day masterclass, delegates will learn how and why rotating equipment’s breaks down and understand what they can do to control it. They will also be able to instill necessary lubrication techniques and vibratory condition-based
monitoring and what is required in order to conduct efficient vibration and condition monitoring analysis. Delegates will learn how to write maintenance and rebuild procedures that drive high quality work and produce highly reliable machines.
The masterclass is designed to have an immediate impact so that participants can take back to their organization the impeccable knowledge to start saving on costly downtime and repairs immediately!
